Biggest blessin ever!!!

It's possible that by now you have heard word of my spontaneous nuptials. Well I thought I'd fill y'all in on the details. About three year's ago we hosted a team in Honduras from AAO lead by Linda Mohlman. It was on that team that I met a lady that would for ever change my life. I met Tiffany Daniel Redding (Coach). Tiffany was a softball coach and student at the University of Arkansas. Right away I was smitten. Tiffany returned to Honduras on a Springbreak trip with Linda again. It was that trip when we began to court. I called her mother and asked for her blessing to court and pursue Tiffany. Miss. Bettye gave us her blessing. Between March and July 19TH Tiffany and I enjoyed and endured a long distance relationship. Tiffany came down to Honduras to be with me as I finished out my time with Mercy International. I had been praying for a wife for years. But I didn't want just any woman, I'd been praying for a special lady. G-d gave me better than I could have ever asked for or hoped for. Tiffany is amazing. It takes about a second with her to realize she is a Proverbs 31 kinda lady. It took about second with her to know that she was the one I wanted for life.
From the begining of our courtship Tiff and I knew that we were looking at a life together. We had been talking about marrage, but i think we were looking at some time in the fall. When we were finally together in Honduras after months of long distance courting it was amazing. Tiff and I spoke to Henry Lowman and told him that we wanted him to marry us in the fall. Henry said well why not just get married here. Tiff and I stood on a beach on the carribbean coast and I asked her if I was to ask her to marry me what she would say. She told me she would "say yes." I asked her if I would swing it and make it happen, if she would want to get married there in Honduras. She said "yes." When we got back to Yamaranguila I set out on a mission. The 28Th of July was my birthday. Tiff and I had a spat. I walked away frustraited. The next morning at seven o'clock we still got together to like we had every morning. I told her I was sorry I walked away and that I would never do that to her again. I asked her again if she still wanted to marry me. And she said "yes." I found a justice of the peace to marry us. After leaving his office I stopped by a little store and found a little ring. I went to the park in Yamaranguila where Tiff was working with a youth team. I waite until lunch and I called Miss. Bettye again and I asker her for her blessing to marry her daughter. She gave me her blessing. So while the team was having lunch I got down on a knee infront of Tiffany and I asked her to marry me. I put the ring on her finger and she said "yes." I then told her we had to go to the medical clinic and get a test so we could get married. She had been working and playing soccor. She wanted to get cleaned up. We ran around like headless chickens. We had to be at the justice of the peaces office by three o'clock. The race was on. They got a ring and flowers and the whole nine yards in about fifeteen minutes. At three fourty five in the afternoon in the Honduran jp's office Tiffany maid me happest I'd ever been upto that point, she said I do. G-d is so good and I am so blessed. For me the decision was a know brainer. I could not live a second more without her. I finally got to met Miss. Bettye. She is such a blessing.

He went off and He did it again, put together another amazing team. This year has been a great year we have hosted some pretty great teams. We just hosted a GTS. GTS is Global Training School. GTS was started by Linda Mohlman and is sent out by New Heights church. The vision behind GTS is to take mission minded people and put them in a country for a month to give them a taste of what missions is about. There were three different GTS groups going to different countries. No joke, we had to have gotten the best group. Our GTS had 3 leaders 2 young men and four young ladies. These people were hard working and fun loving. The GTS loved serving the L-rd and His people.
One of the things that stands out to me is that one of the GTS leaders was Kathleen Pulsin (Pauley). Pauley has personally been mentored by Linda. Two out of the 4 GTS ladies are being mentored by Pauley. To me it just gave a real nice picture of the value of mentoring/discipling. I have been blessed to see some top notch mentors strut their stuff. Pouring themselves out and duplicating themselves is fluid for them. When I think of mentors, I think of people like Steve Sizemore, Kevin Rusac, Linda Mohlman, Pauley and Henry Lowman just to speak of a few. I know I have been blessed to have many people pour themselves into me.
Well on the 19TH of this month my gal Tiffany will be joining us here in Honduras for a few weeks. Needless to say I am about as giddy as a young school girl. That’s right 6 more days.
We are currently hosting a team from Otterbaughn church from P.A. This is returning group and they are always a pleasure to serve, because there leader Shuby is on the ball.

And yet today the L-rd showed His towards me in a very real way. In the past 12 years or so I have had moments where it seemed as if everything around me stopped. Its like I was left in segment in time with just the Father and I. Today was one of those day's. It was He and I alone even though I was sorrounded by loads of people. Today I lead a a group to the community of El Por Venir to do VBS with the kids at the school. As we were preparing to leave I asked a little girl for a hug. Before I new it I was be hugged by every kid and being told they love me. They the told me they wanted to pay a game with me, so we did. They all got in a line hand and hand. One little girl grabbed my hand. The next thing I knew they all wrapped arround me. It was wild. It was a great blessing. Never ceases to amaze me how these kids can break ya. Lifes troubles and struggles help me to foreget just how good life is. Day's like today remind me how good life and my G-d are.

Little gifts

Hello. It always brings me great please to get back in touch with you. I trust you are doing well. I am doing very well. We have been very busy here in Honduras. We just hosted a 27 member team from Life church in Olatha, Kansas. I tell ya the truth this, year every team we have hosted has been such a delight to serve. This team was no exception. They work hard, they were easy to please.
They also knew how to have fun as they ministered. The life church team broke into to groups one group built a home in the Invasion while the other group came with me to take medical clinics to remote villages.
There are times in our lives/ministry that G-d gives us little gifts, just to let us know He cares. While we were hosting these teams in the med clinics G-d chose two give me two different gifts on two different days. The first gift came on the first day of our clinic in the village of Samane. I say a lady that I had remembered pouring a floor in her home about five or six years ago. The lady pointed out her 5 year old little girl to me and she reminded me that she had been pregnant with that little girl when we did her floor. The second gift came to me at the next village El Por Venir. Once again I see a lady with pretty little twin girl around 2 and a half years old. The lady in formed me that I held those twins when they were 6 months old. Ya see in both cases I remembered the families well even before it was brought to my attention. The thing that makes this special to me is that those ladies remembered me and our teams. They remember the groups that poured not only a floor, but love on their family as well. They remember the love you gave to the children. Save your sermon let the love talk a bit for ya. In closing I'd like to leave you with two scripture.
"If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday." ~Isa 58:10
"Religion that our G-d our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." ~James 1:27
Thank you very much for the role you have played
in my life and ministry.
God bless you!!!
